# # # Tips For Buying Your New Laptop

You want to buy a laptop but do not know where to
began. You are not alone. Buying a new laptop can present
many challenges, especially if you are unfamiliar with
a laptop or notebook computer.

Over the last little while so many new laptop technology
has hit the market ... Intel Duo Processors, SLI, Dual
Graphics ... it can all truly mind boggling to the average
consumers. For the first time laptop buyer understanding
all the techno jargon can be really daunting.

Especially since the new generation of notebook technology
comes around every two years or less; probably much less
when you consider all the new advances made recently.
It can even be a little excessive even for someone
like myself who runs an online Laptop Guide and who have
interest in all things laptop.

Apart from all these fancy new improvements, this device
notebooks and technology, you have to remember you buy
new laptop for you and your own. You must first
decide whether all these new things important to you?
Do you really need all this technology the new notebook?

But most of all before you can consider your question
first need to figure out WHY you want a laptop? Why do you
buy a laptop? Job or task that you want
laptop to do?

If you just want a laptop for simple web browsing and
email, a laptop made five years ago will do
work well and cost a heck of a lot less. You really
do not need top of the line laptop unless of course,
You keep up with the Jones and want the latest top
Models of everything. But it was moved to Dr. Phil
territory ... let's not venture in there!

So what do you need for a laptop?

Do you need a lightweight portable laptop for business
trips or meetings? Do you need a notebook for students
class? Or do just want a desktop replacement computer
You can easily move around your home?

Your answer will determine the type of laptop
You must buy.

In my case, I need a desktop replacement that I could
easy to move around my house and took a very rare
trip or vacation. Long battery life is not the main
consideration because I would mainly be using it plugged
into an electrical outlet. Additionally, a laptop that I want
will be 7 or 8 pounds and I have no intention of dragging
that baby around for any great distance.
